'AWORERIN' translated literarily means 'something you look at and laugh', in one word 'COMIC'. This YORUBA MAGAZINE, a publication of the Ministry of Education in Western Nigeria dates back to the 1940's and was in print until the late 70's or early 80's. This publication can be regarded as an 'encyclopaedia' of Yoruba language and culture of its time. I believe it still has relevance today.
